Red Cross holds Flag Day for South Asia earthquake
The Gibraltar Branch of the British Red Cross will be holding a Flag Day next week to raise funds for its latest appeal launched for the victims of the South Asia earthquake.
The flag day will be held on Thursday and will be centred around the Piazza where volunteers and helpers are being asked to turn up on the day at 8.30am.
“Everyone is welcome to help out,†said treasurer Charles Montegriffo.
Meanwhile an account called South Asia Appeal Fund has been opened at Barclays Bank at 84-90 Main Street. The account number is 1100445.
